I can't bring myself to write.

Edited June 23rd: Because I obviously can bring myself to write again. However, the reasons that prompted this post originally and the vulnerability displayed in it (although cringeworthy in retrospect) were much too real for this post to be removed altogether.

I appologize to all who enjoy this site, and to those whom I may have subjected my crude self too. I had felt accepted, but I was delusional. I had felt welcomed, but now understand I was imposing. Farewell.

Well, you have to do what you have to do. If that means not posting anymore, so be it.

Your time is too precious to be affected, even if it is by some silly occurences on your blog.

I enjoyed your writing style. So I hope that you continue to post.

But ultimately, do what's best for you.

Good Luck !

Beefdrop, what do you mean you felt 'accepted'? So basically, you'd feel much more welcome had your request for 'nipple peeks' been met with wide smiles and a couple of 'LOLs'? Have you no respect for anyone? Sheesh!!!

I've had a few situations on my blog that upset me terribly. As a published author you have no control over who is reading but I hope you decide the trolls aren't worth it and continue.

Yeah, you have to just keep in mind that you are opening yourself up to the ENTIRE world, or anyone with internet access anyway, and that is going to necessarily mean a certain percentage of creeps, weirdos and various other undesirables.

I hope you won't stop posting either. I can understand the sense of invasion, but I think if you ignore those types of comments, they'll stop. And thank goodness there is a delete key.

You write so well though... I just hope you don't let it stop you.

I like your writing too and I hope you don't let other people's idiocy drive you away. This is your blog. It's not about them. It's about you.

Probably the simplest solution is to monitor your comments. Once those who who say crude things learn that they are not being published, they usually go away. That said, welcome to the wild west of blogging. It's a very odd writing environment -- this combination of diary writing and open forum. One bad apple can really spoil everyone's time. You're going to have all sorts of crazy people searching for all sorts of nonsense on your blog, many sexually-related. I feel bad that you're so upset by it. But you should know that it happens to everyone, so you're not alone. Most people that you meet online are very nice and are respectful of your writing. Don't let those who aren't ruin it for you.

I agree with coloratura. blogging, like most other public activities in life, will eventually get you some attention from the undesirables. theres nothing much you can do abt it, but choose to monitor the comments you get. it takes all sorts to make the world, and the only thing you can control is the way you react to them, rather than let them affect you in a -ve way. thats my 2 bits worths anyway. i like ur blog and do check your site frequently, and it would be a shame if you allowed somebody else to ruin something you feel deeply about...hope to see you posting soon:)

I need to say one more thing - if my comments were an issue, why did you never say anything? Ever? You even have my email, why didn't you tell me to keep to myself, instead of this? I would have honored whatever request you might have had for me.

What kind of an idiotic logic is that? Just because she didn't tell you not to it's ok to cross lines? Sheesh indeed! Take some responsibility.

cherchez, I agree with Neil. You will find the majority of people who read your blog will be nice and respectful. Don't let those who aren't drive you away. And yes, turn comment moderation on.

Actually I figured this all out. Cherchez was on the rag, probably something negative happened with John (something regarding bad communication), and she felt like she had to strike out at the only people who couldn't strike back, in order to regain some control in her life. Nice one.

And I understand everyone coming to her defense, I would be aswell, except for the fact that I'm the innocent target here.

I do not feel bad for any of my comments, as they were all light hearted, and if you can't take a joke, than you should just fucking die. Thanks.

Beefdrop, this post wasn't specifically about you but after your last comment I think you should just stop reading my blog.
